Why is water important?

The source of water has a lot to do with the impurities it may contain. For example, water from underground aquifers is more likely to be classified as “hard water” — meaning it contains high concentrations of dissolved minerals — than surface water sources, such as lakes. Hard water is safe to drink but can cause a variety of problems in your home, including limescale buildup that can damage pipes.
Also, lakes or reservoirs may be more likely to contain bacteria and sediment than groundwater.
No matter where your water comes from, it’s bound to contain impurities. Even if your water source comes from a municipal source that is treated to meet safe drinking water standards, your water may contain contaminants that make it unsuitable for domestic use. We know that some troublesome impurities in tap water cannot be removed even if we boil the water, generally including:

  • Residual chlorine and bleaching powder after disinfection.
  • Sulphur, which causes an offensive taste and odor.
  • Iron and manganese that can stain sinks and clothes.
  • Floating particles, scale and impurities.
  • Contaminants may include viruses and pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella and E. coli as well as lead, mercury and more.

Why is air quality important?

  • Health Effects: We breathe a lot of air in our homes every day. If there are pollutants and harmful gases in the indoor air, it will directly affect our health. Poor indoor air quality can lead to respiratory illnesses, allergic reactions, headaches, fatigue and other health problems.
  • Time allocation: People spend most of their time indoors, especially when sleeping. If the indoor air quality is poor, prolonged exposure can lead to chronic health problems.
  • Specific groups: Home air quality is especially important for the elderly, children and those with respiratory illnesses. These populations are more susceptible to pollutants and may experience more serious health problems.
  • Indoor pollution sources: There are many possible sources of pollution indoors, such as furniture, detergents, smoking, etc. Regular cleaning and proper ventilation can improve indoor air quality, but using an air purifier can remove pollutants more thoroughly.
  • Comfort: Higher quality indoor air provides better comfort. Clean air makes it easier for us to relax and focus, improving our quality of life.
  • Prevention: Improving home air quality can help prevent some pollution-related health problems such as asthma, allergies, respiratory infections, and more.

How often should the water filter cartridge be replaced?

Depending on your usage frequency and household water quality, we recommend that you replace the water filter element every 2-6 months. If you use more frequently or have poor water quality in your home, your water filter can saturate more quickly, so you should change the filter more often.

How often should the air purifier filter be replaced?

HEPA air purifiers are used to trap fine particles such as pollen, dust mites and bacteria. Filters are typically replaced every 6 to 12 months, but may need to be changed more often if you live in an area with poor air quality or have allergies.
